Cookie Policy

How browser cookies and session state are used by the Eclipse dashboard.

Essential session cookies

Eclipse uses a signed session cookie to keep you logged in after Discord OAuth2 and to protect access to server dashboards. This cookie is required for authenticated dashboard features.

What the cookie is used for

The session identifies the current dashboard login and stores temporary authentication state. It is not intended to build an advertising profile or track your browsing across unrelated websites.

Third-party services

Discord may set or use its own cookies when you visit Discord's OAuth pages. GoDaddy, Railway, DNS providers and other infrastructure services have their own policies when you interact directly with their websites.

Removing cookies

You can sign out of Eclipse or clear site data in your browser. Removing the session cookie will require you to log in with Discord again before opening protected server settings.

Changes

If Eclipse later adds non-essential analytics or similar browser storage, this policy should be updated before that behaviour becomes part of the normal site experience.
